Recently, I read a tweet about joining a Barnes & Noble sponsored book club for those of us that read electronically. [Enrollment is now closed so don't go looking to sign up].
As a highly wired person and the owner of a nook reading device, I jumped at the chance. What surprised me was the number of people who were interested in electronic reading! Many are planning to read the book on a device that is an "app" on an iPod touch, iPhone or soon, via the iPad.
I have the Barnes and Noble free app on my iPod touch and will be able to read this book on either of my devices.
I set the nook down with the "cover" on screen on top of my own [print] book, titled "Digital Storytelling Guide for Educators" and took this photo.
I have been reading electronically for many years and so, I am looking forward to reading not only how much people like the medium of anytime, anywhere reading but also to see how an online book club works.
Oh, did I mention the book was free? Now, that's exciting......

Midge, have you tried the Nook's book-lending feature yet? I think it's one of the best things the B&N readers/bookstore has going. I've got the reader on my Touch and can't wait for the iPad version to be released.
